How Much does a Photo Session Cost?

Sessions begin at $350. A variety of packages are offered to suit your photographic needs. To request a complete price list please contact Abby.

What Makes Abby Different?

There are many choices when it comes to investing in private portraiture. Abby has over 15 years of experience, is trained in the safe handling of infants and is a mom herself. Fun and patient, responsive and professional. From your first inquiry all of your contact will always be directly with Abby and unlike many studios, Abby is the only photographer. All of the work on her website is a direct representation of what to expect from your own family photo shoot. There are no time constraints on your photo session and while it may take longer to coax smiles from shy children, Abby is efficient and ready to capture little ones who shine brightly and burn out quickly. She is always available to discuss ideas, answer questions and collaborate to make sure your photos satisfy your vision. Each experience is unique and special and sessions are relaxed and fun for your family. Abby is funny and playful and captures real smiles and moments. Her photos have energy and showcase your child's spirit. A professionally trained photographer, Abby is committed to turning your family photos into artistic memories.

How long will your session last?

Sessions can run anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours. Abby will not rush your child as she wants to capture them at their best. She also makes time for breaks and small snacks. Newborn sessions have plenty of breaks for soothing, feeding and changing.

What should we wear?

Choosing clothing is a big part of creating your portraits. If you'd like your photos to be timeless please avoid logos, pictures or other images that may distract attention from your children or your family. The most successful portraits combine simple colors, patterns and/or textures. Bare feet are always adorable. Please feel free to have a few outfit changes or options. Abby can also go over clothing choices with you to help you decide what will work best for your photo sessions.

A note on Newborns:

Newborns are most often photographed during their first two weeks of life. During this time they are fragile, sleepy and their little bodies curl up tightly. It is a fleeting, special time. If you want to capture this brief moment in time, please contact Abby before your due date. She always tries to make room in her schedule for babies this young, but putting your due date on her calendar enables her to block out space just for you.

Policies

On the day of your session please allow at least 2 hours. Abby likes to focus all of her attention on your child/children and asks that you bring only parents and people who will be in the photographs to your photo shoot. On the day of the portrait session you will be asked to pay your session fee. Please, no sick children. We can always reschedule.

The studio reserves the right to reuse images and or reproductions for display, publication or other purposes. All photographic images remain the property of Abby Cope Photography. All art prints, books and other orders will be ready 2-4 weeks from the time of ordering. You will receive an email letting you know when your order is complete.
